Sunsets & Spices: A Week in Jaipur

India had always been on my list—but Jaipur? It absolutely stole my heart.

From the moment I stepped into the Pink City, I was immersed in a world of palaces, bazaars, and curries that felt like poetry on a plate. It’s not just the colors—it’s the vibe. Warm, chaotic, and deeply soulful.

🕌 Day 1: City of Forts and Fantasy

We kicked things off at Amber Fort—a majestic sandstone structure rising above the hills. Riding an elephant to the entrance felt surreal, like stepping into a royal dream. Inside, mirrored halls sparkled as if lit by stars.

Later, Hawa Mahal amazed me with its honeycomb of windows. I could almost imagine queens behind those latticed screens, watching the world go by.

🛍 Day 3: Bazaars and Bargains

If you love markets, Jaipur is your playground. At Johari Bazaar, I hunted for bangles, embroidered scarves, and street food. I tried pyaaz kachori (onion-stuffed pastry) from a tiny stall—and wow. Crispy, spicy, unforgettable.

🍛 Day 5: Rajasthani Thali and Camel Rides

Dinner at a traditional haveli gave us the full royal treatment: silver plates filled with dal baati churma, curries, chutneys, and the softest rotis I’ve ever had.

That evening, we ventured into the desert for a camel ride at sunset. As the sky turned from gold to purple, I realized this city had given me memories for life.

Jaipur is magic—colorful, chaotic, but always welcoming. I’ll be back for sure.
